More Rain in Cambodia for Another Week

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has issued a warning on the weather situation in Cambodia from 26 October to 1 November 2022, stating that provincial capitals will continue to experience low to high levels of rain along with thunder and lightning.

Capitals and provinces in the central lowlands are expected to receive light to moderate rain, some of which may be moderate rain mixed with lightning. The minimum temperature is expected to be between 22-24 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature between 29-31 degrees Celsius.

Upland areas at a higher elevation will receive light to moderate rain mixed with thunder. The minimum temperature is expected to be 21-23 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 29-31 degrees Celsius.

In the coastal areas, there will be light to moderate rain mixed with thunder and lightning, with a minimum temperature between 22-24 degrees Celsius, and a maximum temperature between 29-31 degrees Celsius.

Cambodia will be experiencing such weather conditions due to a high-pressure wing from the north of China, which extends down to the Kingdom and meets the low pressure valley from the South China Sea. The wind is also expected to gradually change direction.
